NATIONAL LEAGUE South club, Chelmsford City, have completed the signing of defender Elliot Omozusi from Whitehawk.
Omozusi, a one-time Fulham trainee, made his first-team debut for the Cottager’s in September 2006 against Wycombe Wanderers in a League Cup tie.
The 28-year-old spent spells on loan with Norwich City, Charlton Athletic and Leyton Orient before linking up with Cambridge United. Omozusi also accumulated plenty of international experience having appeared for the England youth set-up from Under-16 to Under-19 level.
He becomes manager Rod Stringer’s seventh pre-season signing as the Melbourne Stadium club look to go one better after missing out on promotion following a dramatic play-off final defeat at the hands of Ebbsfleet United at the conclusion of the last campaign.
