STILT-walkers, circus performers and marching bands will descend upon Romford Market tomorrow, April 22, for the town’s St George’s Day celebrations.
The market place will be adorned in red, white and blue bunting for the day-long festivities from 10am to 4pm.
Visitors will be treated to performances from The Haverettes and British Legion marching bands, as well as magicians and aforementioned circus acts.
Councillor Philippa Crowder, mayor of Havering said: “In previous years, the St George’s Day celebration has been one of the busiest days on the market. It’s a wonderful scene and I know I’m not the only one who’s looking forward to it.”
