Two Basildon men charged with Brentwood burglary and fraud offences

TWO BASILDON men have been charged with a burglary in Brentwood.

Bricklayer Frankie Galvin, 27, of Nether Priors, and unemployed Ricky Pearce, 25, of Great Knightleys, appeared at Basildon Magistrates Court on Wednesday, charged burglary and fraud offences.

Both men are accused of carrying out a burglary in Thrift Green, Brentwood, on January 23, in which mobile phones, a wallet, a computer tablet and bank cards were reported stolen.

The bank cards were subsequently used that same morning in Brentwood, Southend and Basildon.

Gavin is charged with burglary, two counts of fraud and one count of cannabis possession.

Pearce is charged with burglary, two counts of fraud, driving a silver Vauxhall Corsa whilst disqualified and driving without insurance.

They have been remanded into custody until their next appearance at Basildon Crown Court on March 8.
