Essex Police hunting crooks who stole jewellery from Basildon home

THIEVES stole a ’large amount’ of jewellery from a Basildon home late last month, said Essex Police.

Crooks broke into a home in Panadown on Tuesday, January 24, some time between 5am and 10.20pm.

They stole watches, chains, rings, bracelets, earrings and necklaces, said police.

The thieves also took two Apple mobile phones, two Samsung mobile phone and a Samsung computer tablet.

Investigating officers have released pictures of two of the items stolen during the break-in.

The officers want to speak to anyone who witnessed the burglary or saw anybody acting suspiciously in the area on the day of the offence.

They would also like to speak to anyone who has been offered jewellery for sale and suspected it may be stolen.
