NEXT month marks the 50th anniversary of The Robert Beard Youth Centre.

To celebrate the occasion, staff want as many residents to pop in.

The golden anniversary will be celebrated on Saturday February 28 from 12.30pm to 5pm, and all residents are invited.

Organisers hope to take attendees on a journey through time, allowing them to reminisce and learn more about Robert Beard and the youth centre. The celebrations include nostalgic side-show games and competitions organised by young people and other users of the building.

Music and entertainment will be provided by members of The Robert Beard from all eras.
